About Golden Nugget Poker
In October 2012, Golden Nugget received a license to operate real-money poker in Nevada. Not long after, the play-money site opened, and they launched an app that’s available in Apple’s App Store. Though currently restricted to play-money games, Golden Nugget Poker still has much to offer online poker enthusiasts, including impressive software and tangible prizes. The network infrastructure is supplied by Bally Technologies, which also has a deal with American Casino and Entertainment Properties, LLC, parent company of the Stratosphere casino in Las Vegas. That means that Golden Nugget’s site could be a glimpse into the future of several upcoming online poker sites, as the core software likely will be used by multiple casinos.

The Golden Nugget in Atlantic City is in the midst of a major revival, thanks in large part to the overwhelming success of its online casino brand. Golden Nugget Casino is a regulated and legal NJ online casino sites, known for its stellar game selection, and superior NYX Gaming powered client. The main site features over 400 games. More than 200 of those titles have been ported to. Golden Nugget is the best poker option in Downtown Las Vegas. Its 13-table room is full of action 24 hours a day. If you need a break from it, you can check out the poker. The deal announced Tuesday includes the exclusive launch of seven of Everi’s real-money games for online play in New Jersey. The property has also fully integrated its Golden Nugget online casino with Everi’s Remote Game Server (RGS), giving it ready-access to additional titles expected to launch in the near future.
The highlights of the Golden Nugget Poker software can be found in the “Tools” tab and at the top of each open table. Within those menus, players can find hand histories, statistics on their own play, and notes they’ve written about other players. Players also can alter the look and feel of the tables from the “Tools” menu. Cards are available in four different versions: classic, classic four-color, easy, and easy four-color.

Are we missing something?
A free-play poker site from the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas has closed up shop, the brick-and-mortar casino’s live poker room said on Twitter last week. Apparently there was some confusion about an email sent out to the site’s users, according to the tweet.
“The Golden Nugget Las Vegas poker room is NOT closing,” the tweet read. “Only the free online poker website is ceasing operations. Sorry for the confusion!”
The company launched the free-play site in 2012, ahead of its license for real-money online poker in the Silver State. The Golden Nugget never launched a real-money poker site in Nevada.
The free-play site awarded prizes to players but did not have real-money deposits or cash outs.
The Golden Nugget Atlantic City was also approved for online gaming, but has elected only to offer games other than peer-to-peer Internet poker. The casino’s online gaming operations in New Jersey have generated $20,762,311 in revenue so far in 2015.
One of the online gaming suppliers that the Golden Nugget Atlantic City agreed to partner with was Amaya Gaming, which just this week received state approval to bring its subsidiary PokerStars to the Garden State. According to the deal announced in 2013, Amaya was going to provide the back-end technology for GoldenNuggetPoker.com. The site never launched.
